Clinton was given a 'soft ball' 'free pass' hearing by the Senate. John McCain prefaced his questioning by gushing for several moments about what a great job Secretary of State Clinton has done. 1st year Law students could have done a better job of legal examination of a witness concerning one of the most serious breaches in U.S.Security than was done by these bumbling, overly deferential Senators... There was no 'fire' or 'bite' or serious intent to get behind the 'smokescreen' in their questioning. This was just a 'sham' questioning so they could tell the American people that they 'did it'.

Those who are fans of Mrs. Clinton must have been delighted with her tap dancing around questions addressed to her by House and Senate Committee members. Those fans consider all this as just stagecraft created by political hacks that have no right to question “his eminence” --the President -- or his esteemed Secretary of State. Yet there are many...
