"But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." 2nd Timothy 3:1-7 An apt description of the times we are now living in. "Lovers of pleasure, lovers of money, and lovers of SELF, not God." Such a nation, if it does not repent, is headed toward the dung heap of history.

It's called 'hedging your bets', and it indicates a double-minded opportunist. If he can't make his mind up which position he's going for, and commit himself wholeheartedly to that course, I wouldn't vote for him for either position. The more I learn about Senator Rand, it's for sure I would never vote for him for President. Another political "trimmer"...
We are not doing our homosexual neighbors, relatives, or associates any favor by endorsing their lifestyle as "acceptable", "normal, or of equal value or worth to God's design for normal heterosexuality. Ephesians says, "Speak the truth in love", and "walk in love". To do that, we must know what we believe (Biblical ignorance among those who identify themselves as "Christian" is much too high). More important, we must know HIM whom we claim to believe in..... the One Who never came to condemn any man or woman, but came to share God's Truth, Life, and Word with those who were willing to receive it.
bulls-eye!
If you don't know who they are, or have a clue what Youssef is talking about here, it would be pointless and a waste of time to try to explain it to you.
True ;prophets have always been hated and stoned by the world. False prophets are given million dollar positions in the Mainstream Media, politics, and promoted to lavish, feel good million dollar television ministries, preaching from their 'Crystal Cathedrals', tickling ears, and catering to their 'flock's' vanity and self-delusion. BEWARE when all men speak well of you. Realize it or not, you have probably moved into the FALSE prophet category.

"Are audiences so detached from reality that they accept as news a conversation on the level of one you could overhear at a bar?" The ones who have not 'bailed out' yet on the lying Mainstream Media.... the answer to that question is YES!. Television 'news' today (including the cable channels and Faux News) is three parts propaganda and one part entertainment.... Nothing to do with any attempt at thoughtful, objective analysis of events.... everything to do with a pre-determined political viewpoint, spin, and 'how I FEEL about it'.
"The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will you do in the end thereof?" Jeremiah 5:31

The title of the list is '25 Most Influential People on the Right'. Not 'good guys' or 'bad guys'. The individuals you cited have proven by their actions they are not conservatives, and not on the right.
