Too late for you to wake up??

Who is waking up?

It was a _metaphor_, so blowing off the honest question to the metaphor, by pretending it was literal, just to make a personal attack, makes you look really, really stupid. Ask around if you don't believe me (assuming you aren't stupid; people who are in fact stupid don't care about evidence or feedback because they don't update anyway.)

The answer is that it is too late for 'waking up' to make a difference.

But no, it isn't too late.

If the Feds start selling off the federal land-holdings (1/3 of the USA), the debt and deficit can be wiped out approximately tomorrow.

If you prefer, get involved at the local and state level and start pushing the counties and states to push back against the power of the Leviathan.

Actually, he said that in 2012. I write before this year's speech, but he says basically the same thing every year: With more spending, government can fix everything.

But I have this dream -- one where my president walks to the podium, and he instead...
