The national dissolution of the foundation stone of human society- marriage between one man and one woman that produces a FAMILY- is the 'canary in the mine' that signals the end is fast approaching for American society.

Your remarks would have more force if there were any connection between slavery, the Indian wars, and the internment of Japanese-Americans, on the one hand, and marriage on the other. Or are you trying to say that slavery and marriage were somehow connected, so that the end of the the former and the decline of the latter are causally related and we cannot have the one if we reject the other?

When was this nation better? When there was slavery? When it was legal to murder Natives and you'd be paid a bounty for their scalps? When Japanese Americans were put in concentration camps?
