Your words of wisdom, unfortunately, will fall upon 'deaf ears' with much of the younger generation. Fifty years of gulping the socialist 'kool aid' in the public schools and universities has psychologically emasculated an entire generation of American youth. The current 'pretender' in the White House is a living, breathing testimony of the truth of that fact. In the socialist manner of thinking, personal or national exceptionalism is 'out', group think and mediocrity is 'in'. Every year about this time, big-government liberals stand up in front of college commencement crowds across the country and urge the graduates to do the noblest thing possible-- become big-government liberals.

That isn't how they phrase it, of course. Commencement speakers express great reverence for "public service," as distinguished from narrow private "greed."
