Public education was 'hi-jacked' by the socialist agenda of the NEA over 40 years ago- about the same time the Supreme Court of the United States forbade prayers, mention of God or the Ten Commandments in the public classrooms. Since then, there has been a steep and predictable drop in the quality of education and the classroom environment. Our children are indoctrinated with the belief that there is no 'right and wrong', and that all truth is 'relative'... in other words, 'you do your thing, and I'll do mine... it's ALL good'. Mentioning the Name of God or His Son in the public schools today- except as a curse word- is 'anathema', punishable by instant expulsion of the student, and the end of the career of a teacher.
