EPA Takes to Air to Watch Cow Pies

The American people can only take so much. Like the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back" we can only take so much. The idea that the EPA actually pays people to watch cows poop would be funny if it were being done by a private company with no gov't funds. It isn't funny when we know the dollars for this are being drawn from our pockets without our consent. I can't imagine watching cow's butts all day and then having to answer my kids when they ask, "What did you do today daddy?" Of course the EPA will claim legitimate-sounding "reasons" for this; but it boils down to one thing: the congress lets them get away with it. And one more straw is heaped on the poor camel.

The Environmental Protection Agency declined to answer questions this week as the Omaha World-Herald sought to clarify whether the agency had the legal authority to conduct overflights of cattle operations to determine if cattle are pooping in streams in the Midwest.

I don’t know much about bovine latrine habits, but I’ve been around enough pastures to know that cattle really aren’t that particular.

It seems to me that they let go pretty much wherever they are, stream or no.

So I think I can say with some authority, that, yes, cattle all around the Midwest are indeed pooping in...
