Obamism - when a term means exactly the opposite of what is said. See also "lie".

Has Rodney King Moved to Cambridge?

Jackson is trying to take a backward approach to say that Gates wasn't really to blame. I suppose this is because Jackson is a carbon-copy of Gates.. Oops. Was that racist of me to say carbon-copy? Wow. I didn't even realize I'm a bigot until just now.

I think I can safely say that Jackson would be siding with the police if the incident happened in Alabama and the homeowner had a confederate flag in the rear window of his pickup truck. And imagine if the cop were black. Then Jackson would be trying to pull the cop's gun out of his holster in order to expedite law enforcement.

But in this case, Jackson is a black graduate of Harvard. Gates is a black member of that same group. They get special consideration when they act...

...you must read this book. "Not By Fire, But By Ice"

The author has over two dozen pages of footnotes from scientific journals and clearly knows more about climate changes than I, or any of you, do.

I am not affiliated with the author at all, but it has totally altered my view of climate changes, as well as what killed the dinosaurs. Read it before you decide.

Bray Brady Bray

I would bet dollars to donuts that Brady was sitting at a cocktail party with friends and someone was lamenting how her husband was laid off. Linda Brady immediately fired back with "Don't worry about it, sweetie. I'll find a place to put your husband. Is he good at anything? Oh, don't embarrass yourself by trying to think of something. It doesn't matter anyway!" And a new position was created then and there. Throwing 'diversity' in the title was merely her way of creating a politically correct smokescreen.

And it also ensured that the party was an instant success, which is much more important to the ivory tower residents than the cost of education to future students.
"Martha Coakley was a poor candidate and Obama is not putting his agenda through like he campaigned for. Everyone voted for Obama's agenda. Obama has abandoned that agenda. "

It's funny that the harder Obama and Pelosi push their agenda, the quicker the independents (who were the most responsible for Obama's presidency) are jumping the liberal ship.

So one would infer that it actually IS Obama's agenda -- specifically the real world ramifications (higher taxes, higher deficit, more government control and less freedom, higher unemployment, corruption and lies -- that is causing the liberal losses.

lilly,

Using Paul Krugman as a credible source is akin to giving Yassar Arafat a Nobel Peace Prize for not killing as many jews as he used to.

Krugman talks about the wealthiest Americans' net worth rising exponentially. Yet he fails to explain the technological expansion that went on through the period that he quotes and how the wealthiest Americans shot up out of nowhere as their fortunes were made in new investments. He also doesn't mention that some of those in the top .01% are your very own liberals such as George Soros who manipulated the system to their own advantage, such as in monetary exchanges, while intentionally screwing the average investor, most of whom were retirees that had their investments in money...

I believe the group that your beloved liberals have singled out to be killed are unborn children. Not unlike Mengele did in concentration camps. So the Nazi comparison is rather apt there.

As for invading other countries.. apparently your memory of history goes all the way back to September 12, 2001. If you recalled the day before that, you would know that islamofascists struck at us first in exactly the same way that the japanese hit Pearl Harbor. Except that the japanese actually hit a military target, unlike the muslims that killed men, women and children and then celebrated in the streets.

And how exactly was Obama given the authority to 'make a few changes' to a private corporation, against the will of the owners (aka...

Ayn Rand gets all the credit these days for explaining the liberal mindset and its future. But another author has explained its origin in a very amusing story that you would swear is a work of non-fiction.
Find a copy of "The Commissar's Report" by Martyn Burke. It'll have you laughing and crying at the same time.

An Imaginary Conversation on Taxes

Your comments are so utterly laughable and exactly the sort of thing that allows liberals to point at conservatives with derision. Except that there is a lot of evidence and logic behind it. I wish I could laugh off your comments the way the leftwingers will, but I actually think you're right.
And I think that Obama, like a certain biblical figure "knows that his time is short." He has one year left before he loses control of Congress and he plans to do as much in the next 14 months as is humanly (or in his mind, godly) possible.

gosh Rick.. you sure impressed us with your family lineage while saying absolutely nothing. Which makes it immediately clear that you're an 11th generation liberal. I don't believe Mr. Gersen said that all Americans are against government-run healthcare. Just the the smart ones.
