I think this type of programming will continue to be served up to the American people in the next four years in ever increasing doses. CBS is simply a propaganda arm, not in any way a respected site for news or journalism, This is just the opening salvo.

A few (like thirty-five or so) years ago, my father and I were watching Sunday afternoon television when a picture flashed on the screen of a bunch of Canadians skating around an ice rink and trying to brain one another with those long, curved sticks. The caption read, "Hockey on CBS." My dad grinned at me and said, "My sentiments exactly !"

CBS finally apologized Sunday night one week after the television show “Amazing Race” broadcast what critics called an “anti-American” segment that offended Vietnam War veterans.

“We want to apologize to veterans – particularly those who served in Vietnam – as well as to their families and any viewers who were offended by the broadcast,” said host Phil Keoghan in a statement at the beginning of Sunday’s night’s episode. “All of us here have the most profound respect for the men and women who fight for our country.”

The episode caused widespread outrage among war veterans.
