Minnesota is up next, Iowa recalled ALL of the judges who forced same sex marriage on its citizens and will repeal same sex marriage next year. Americans overwhelmingly DO NOT approve of same sex marriage.

You're wrong. old Americans don't, but young Americans could not care less. this will inevitably go the way of interracial marriage bans. most people see this for what it is, mean-spirited and punitive. good luck sustaining that . . .

North Carolina voters, an important election 2012 swing state demographic, have approved a constitutional amendment that bans gay marriage and defines marriage as between one man and one woman. The amendment also bans civil unions. More from the National Journal:

The Associated Press declared Amendment 1 passed. With 39 percent of precincts reporting, the measure has 58 percent support.
