Barry-O is allowing the mother of all fishkills to happen right now. The high water in the Mississippi R. is raising the water in the lower delta title marsh lands allowing large fish to enter the marsh and nest. It's not unusal to see 60 lb. ocean-going fish in the marsh protecting their nest. In a week or two water levels will begin falling and the big fish will leave the marsh and swim directly into the oil which is presently entering the marsh. Many of them will be killed and many of their nest will be distroyed. Barry-O's admin. is holding back premits which it requires to do the necessary work to protect these nesting areas.
