In response to:

Two-Thirds of American Gun Owners Would “Defy” a Federal Gun Ban

Not a single recent shooting on record in the US in my life time of 50 + years has been done with an actual "assault weapon". All the weapons used have been legal for civilian ownership & not full auto fire or selective fire which means they were not & are not "assault weapons". All those used, bar none, from the pistols, to the shotguns, to the rifles, have all been one trigger pull = one round down range. This is no different from the semi auto hunting rifles, the semi auto target & self defense pistols, & the semi auto skeet & trap shotguns. Even the calibers & the rate of fire are the same.

Amy, My Fellow Vet:

This morning Fox and Friends had a weapons instructor demonstrate the difference between a semi-automatic and an automatic weapon. The instructor and the range are in Katy, Texas. I just wish libs like Allistooge Unhinged could have seen it. The weapons, proper gun handling and safety were very well demonstrated.

I watched that too Quintus....did you notice the number of teachers and school personnel who were signing up for his gun classes?

Beck did a pretty informative broadcast on his network Tuesday as well. I critiqued it & couldn't find much wrong at all.

But I'll say this...I want a Hello Kitty Assault Bubble gun.

As opposed to NBC, who showed a clip of agents firing full autos during a 5:30 p.m. news headline discussing the original semiautomatic ban Clinton was pushing. Do you think that was a coincidence? Nope. It was planned to mislead the low information, liberal type, voters, into thinking the ban was about full auto machine guns. Look up Josh Sugarman, a big anti gun tripe (oops type) who said something to the effect that the publics confusion over full and semi auto, would give the antis a great opportunity to ban a whole new class of weapons. Liberals can't tell the truth about what they are trying to do. They have to lie, misinform, and obfuscate. They never "tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help them God".

The only thing that sets them apart is cosmetics.
To a weapon they are black or mostly black, low glare or non-reflective coatings, & they look like the military grade weapons they are modeled after.
You are all judging a book by it's cover & a weapon by it's color.

So my question to you progressives out there is this.....

Are you stupid or are you just closet racists?

One would have to be stupid to be a progressive, but for the most part, they are low information voters who take their talking points from the left. It never occurs to them to question, verify, or evaluate.

It’s safe to say Feinstein, Obama and the rest of the gun control gang face an uphill battle when it comes to limiting any Second Amendment rights. According to a Fox News poll, most Americans—both Republicans and Democrats—would defy any new laws that would take away their guns.

But on to Question 47, addressed to those with a gun in their home: "If the government passed a law to take your guns, would you give up your guns or defy the law and keep your guns?"

The response: 65 percent reported they would "defy the...
