Two things. One the animals are healthy & could have been re-homed, these are not ill, violent, or dangerous strays. Two PETA espouses spaying & neutering pets then going for shelter animals. They took animals from shelters & killed them without trying to find them new homes. This was evident in the percentages they killed as well as testimony on the stand. This organization kills almost all the pets they take in no matter age, gender, breed, or suitability of adoption yet attempts to say farmers & hunters "hate" animals. It's the lies & hypocrisy I hate.

As eager families travel to relatives’ homes this week to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal, they may be surprised by billboards from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals discouraging holiday merriment. The billboards are targeted at children, reading “KIDS: If you wouldn’t eat your dog, why eat a turkey? Go Vegan.” People for the Ethical Treatment of Animal’s latest advertising ploy in Nevada and California is sure to make people lose their appetites.
