requiring a picture ID is not voter supression especially since the states that require then have options for low or no cost IDs

Seems like you like to argue with emotion and not logic. Are you going to sit here and tell me that an 87 year old woman WHO IS MOST LIKELY ON MEDICARE doesn't have an ID? How does she cash here SSI check, The tooth fairy? How does she actually verify here medicare when she see's the doctor, Alice and wonderland?

You liberals can't argue with ID. You need picture ID for almost every legal function today but your going to sit here and tell me that its "discriminatory" to require one for voting?

How they do you VERIFY THAT THE PERSON BEFORE YOU IS SAID PERSON? Just take their word for it?

Oh to use your son's death and a counterpoint to your argument is DISGUSTING. I also served in the US Military and you should be ashamed.

You think these SAD but are actually PATHETIC stories - especially because if you cared, you would help them obtain ID.

The church, or even the defecratic party, can get her an ID quite easily. If the defecrats can bribe the homeless with cigarettes to vote, I'm sure you defecrats can handle an "87 year old lady" with a social security card.

Tell that to an 87 year old woman who does not drive - and does not have the means to obtain or pay for an ID. Tell that to the 87 year old woman who waited for her church bus to take her to the polls - but can no longer do that because early voting has been curtailed. Tell that to the 87 year old woman whose ancestors died fighting for the right to vote.
With many in the mainstream media predicting a decisive victory for President Obama and Democrats all over the country, some are now writing pre-emptive obituaries for the Republican Party.

Politico's Jonathan Martin has one such piece called "The looming GOP civil war - whether Mitt wins or not." Such hysterics include:

Regardless of whether Romney wins or loses, Republicans must move to confront its demographic crisis. The GOP coalition is undergirded by a shrinking population of older white conservative men from the countryside, while the Democrats rely on an ascendant bloc of minorities, moderate women and...
