rgrasso said.... Amy, do you know why I'm not going to jump on my private jet this weekend? Because, I don't have one. Do you know why I'm not going to shoot anyone this weekend? Because I don't have a gun. __________________ I do have weapons in my home. Do know why I won't be shooting, stabbing, or beheading anyone this weekend? Because I respect life & won't take it unless I plan on eating the object or I must needs defend myself or innocent life.

I wonder, Amy, why rgrasso thinks he would be unable to resist shooting someone if he had a gun. Of course, I don't know him.

I wonder if he's ever fired any firearm?
it's seems doubtful,he seems very afraid of them, for no reason.

Certainly he has had no military service.

That is obvious JW.

I don't understand that kind of mindset Earl. I've carried most of my adult life & outside the line of duty never shot any human.

Maybe rgrasso has seen that special firearm that is self aware & shoots people on it's own.

99.8% of firearms in the US are never used in a crime, either to commit one or to prevent one.

In Israel and Switzerland, nearly every household has an assault rifle. Israel's murder rate is less than half that of the US, and Switzerland's is one of the lowest in the world.

There is no correlation between citizen gun ownership and gun violence. Gun violence is committed by violent criminals, for the most part. They don't seem to have any difficulty obtaining firearms, even in countries where they are illegal.

There are now calls from the Left for gun control legislation in response to Adam Lanza's unconscionable mass killing of innocent children at Sandy Hook Elementary. However, very few people seem to be asking the most basic question of all before getting started: What gun control legislation could have stopped Adam Lanza?

The answer is "none."

Let's consider a few alternatives:

1) The school was already a "gun free zone;" so obviously that wasn't effective. Of course, the sort of people who would respect a "gun free zone" in the first place are the very ones you wouldn't have to worry...
