Can Republicans Talk?

I think the problem is a grossly biased media. I have many times heard good defense from the GOP, but they can't get it out to the public at large. This liberal favoritism is everywhere. My grandson is studying lying and politics in a high school class. The information given the students claims that Obama by himself has 20% "pants on fire" while the whole GOP gets 13% "pants on fire". How is that a fair comparison? The whole GOP verses one? and look at the type of lies being told. Often the GOP gets accused of lying when they call changes to the welfare program "gutting" verses "changing". Why aren't Obama's 20% lies not exposed by the media? His claims seem to be picked out of the air without any backing at all.

There is a reason why the Romney advisors says they won't run their campaign based on facts:

According to Politifact’s rating system, Mitt Romney’s statements have been judged Mostly False, False, or Pants on Fire 46% of the time, versus only 29% for President Obama. In the Pants on Fire category alone, Romney is more than four times as likely to suffer trouser immolation than the President. Nearly one in ten statements by Romney earned flaming slacks, versus one out of every fifty for Obama.

The whistle was blown on those fact checkers long ago. Peddle that someplace else. The WP fact check is run by the same reporter who in 2008 founded Journolist that sent emails back and forth conspiring to discredit as racists anyone who brought up Wright and Ayers. And the Annenberg Foundation is a far left organization that touts opinions as facts.

Did you ever take the time to check out who runs and pays for Politifacts? I did and now I rate them with MSNBC for veracity.
The first time I saw Chris Christie on television, shortly after he became governor of New Jersey, my immediate reaction was, "My Gosh! A Talking Republican!" It was almost like seeing a talking giraffe or a talking salamander.

Technically speaking, Republicans do talk, but talking is definitely not their strong suit. Nor do they seem to have put a lot of thought into what they say or how they say it. The net result is that articulate Democrats can get away with the biggest lies, without any serious rebuttal from most Republicans.

I have not heard any Republican official or candidate even try...
