In response to:

So, Mr. President, What IS the Capital of Israel?

Romney's day was an embarrassment rivaling the worst day on the campaign trail for Sarah Palin. It is a sign of your extremism that you all you can do is shout distractions, or change the subject, rather than face the fact that the Republican candidate just demonstrated a level of incompetence at a set of simple public meetings. If you compare Romney's initial tour abroad with that of Obama 4 years earlier, why did Obama do so much better and Romney so much worse?

I wouldn't, it obviously is frying the brain or what substitutes for it in his/her case. He/she definitely should change his/her posting name from AmericanViewpoint to Liberal Dumba** Viewpoint.

So you are assuming they HAVE a brain. Nothing could be further from the truth. Or perhaps this: the private sector is doing fine and they didn't make that happen.
In an amazing, protracted exchange, White House press secretary Jay Carney refused to state the administration's view on whether the capital of Israel is Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.

The fact that this would be such a difficult question for the administration's spokesman speaks volumes about the Obama campaign's ignorance of and/or discomfort with all topics pertaining to our strongest mideast ally, Israel.

Jewish voters who supported the President in 2008 should take note.
