America is NOT a racist country. Obama was elected in 2008 with a higher percentage of the popular vote than any of the last 13 white candidates who ran. (1992: Clinton, GHW Bush, Perot; 1996: Clinton, Dole, Perot; 2000: GW Bush, Gore, Nader; 2004:GW Bush, Kerry, Nader; 2008: McCain) That fact alone is compelling proof that the last vestiges of racism in America have become insignificant.

Talked to many black people lately?

Except for black and brown racists. They are growing by the day.

Got news for ya. The majority of those who did vote for Obama represent a group far more racist than anything you could've found in this country in the 70's or 80's.

Sadly you are probably correct.

d.Rat-"The majority of those who did vote for Obama represent a group far more racist than anything you could've found in this country in the 70s or 80". I'd go so far as to include the 60s in the mix (and I spent most of that time in the Carolinas and Mississippi) .

You deny that anyone voted for Mr. Obama because his skin is not white? How do you know that this is the case?
American Phoenix Wrote: Jan 07, 2013 12:17 PM
Maybe this is easily explained by Blacks being proud of the fact that a black man was a contender for the first time? Close to 90% of Blacks also voted for Kerry and Gore and Clinton. To say that 95% of the Blacks who voted for Obama were motivated by racism is like saying that the Catholics who voted for Kennedy because he was a Catholic were anti-Protestant bigots.

Except that many blacks admitted that they were voting for Obama only because of the color of his skin after demonstrating that they were unaware of his political goals.

So then the question of free lunches and government approved sloth becomes an issue, since their party caters to such nonsense and has no intention of ever solving poverty and losing power by actually moving the black community into mainstream America--economically, socially, and thus, politically.
Won't ever happen, too easy to manipulate with the slave and race agitation game.

Dear CRM 495 Students:

Welcome back! It's hard to believe that Christmas break is over and that it's time to start a new semester. It's almost as hard as believing that one of your professors is actually sending you an email using the word "Christmas." But even the liberals agree that I am no ordinary professor. Please allow me to explain.

After I got tenure, I left the political Left and became a conservative Republican. I know you've never had a conservative professor before and you are probably wondering what to expect. In a nutshell, you can expect to hear the...
