No. George W. Bush did not accomplish the things listed. I wonder if the fact that he had a Congress of mostly Democrats had anything to do with it? On the other hand, Barack Obama has had three plus years to get his things done and help this country, WITH a Democratic Congress (well, until 2010, when the R's took over the House, anyway). He's not doing too good either, mostly because of his and his buddies refusal to work with the other members. They've never even passed a budget, for crying out loud! Oh, of course, then they call the R's obstructionists.

Apparently, former Florida Republican Governor Charlie Crist is taking the term “political opportunist” to a whole new level by endorsing President Barack Obama for re-election. Here’s an excerpt from the editorial he penned in the Tampa Bay Times:

I’ve studied, admired and gotten to know a lot of leaders in my life. Across Florida, in Washington and around the country, I've watched the failure of those who favor extreme rhetoric over sensible compromise, and I've seen how those who never lose sight of solutions sow the greatest successes.
