Krauthammer: Here’s How Republicans Can Win the Argument Over “Sequestration”

What a hideous "column." Notice Krauthhammer, Doherty, Townhall only emphasize the 'political' and 'budget' impact of the sequester. That is all they can do because their singular job is to misinform and divert attention from the REAL problem: jobs and employment. The continual (and apparent, successful) conflation of 'budget deficit' with 'economic development' only hurts working class Americans, which of course, Townhall doesn't care about since their job is to make oil company and bank executives richer. Sadly, the looney right wing disinformation machine remains in effect. And, oh yes, there is no climate change, and poor people and Barney Frank caused the banks to collapse! Ignorance remains supreme on the right.

Sorry but that dog won't hunt. You are the one painfully ignorant. By every imagineable measure, Obummercare has hurt the economy and working class americans far more than a 2c/every dollar cut. CBO which I doubt you even know what it is, has estimated the impact of Odummycare and it far outweighs anything the sequester can do. The sequester IS OBAMA's idea and policy you moron and it's been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. If you libs cared about jobs the keystone pipeline and other energy independence projects would be approved but you don't. CBO estimated that there is 200 billion at least in ineffective and overlapping programs that far outweighs the 87b sequester. So just shut the hell up

Ummm, the article is about the sequester. The sequester occurred today. Of course TH is going to right about... the sequester.

Given that the President has been saying at least as much about the sequester as TH has, are we agreed then that he is misinforming and diverting attention from the REAL problem (i.e, the problem you've decided is real.)? If not, why is he doing the same thing as TH different?

If TH isn't writing the articles you want to see, why are you here?

What a silly question! Don't you know the whole world is supposed to revolve around liberals?
Ken6226 Wrote: Mar 01, 2013 12:56 PM
Such as the eight percent unemployment rate that you liberals call a "recovery"?

You almost got two things right.

Everything else?

Utter nonsense.

Got any specifics there...."skippy?"

Yes, the dreaded “sequester” cuts begin taking effect today, but syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer is reminding Republicans that -- at least for the moment -- they actually have the upper hand politically. During an appearance on “Special Report” last night, he urged Republicans to do two things to expose the Left’s cynical, doomsday scare tactics and curry favor with the public: 1) emphasize that the GOP has indeed offered Senate Democrats and the president “utter discretion” to pick and choose which government programs to cut in lieu of “sequestration” -- which the former rejected and the latter threatened to...
