Drifiter:***Whatever, "liberal". (Today's "liberals" are anything but.) "Losers" and "clowns". Nice example of "tolerance", that. Thanks for proving my case. Have a nice day*** I like how this guy put on the air of superior indifference, but continues to react. But here is the thing: you are trying, Drifter, to set-up a "tolerance/totalitarian" dichotomy, much like the left did back in the 1970s and 1980s. In other words, if I have shown that you are not tolerant, then I have shown that you are a totalitarian. But that is nonsense. It was nonsense then and it is nonsense now.

There is an attitude that whatever the left accuses the right of doing is what the left is doing. You prove it in spades.

Hey good little marxist comrade AmericanLiberal!

I'm not "trying" to do anything, "liberal". I'm merely pointing out the obvious state of things.

The truth is that today's modern "liberal" has a decidedly totalitarian bent. Gone is the "free love"/"if it feels good, do it", flower child ethos of the 60's; the "liberal" of today is the hard-liner he decried back then.

I can't help it if you don't like it, and I don't much care, either.

Maybe it is nonsense, but not on your sayso, nor on the sayso of the echo chamber that you are immersed in.

I like echo chambers.
Gun Appreciation Day, a grassroots movement started in response to President Obama and Washington Democrats' recent rhetoric on gun control, drew big crowds to state capitols nationwide that consisted of strong supporters of the Second Amendment. The show of strength by gun supporters couldn't go unnoticed.

Thousands showed up in New York, where Governor Andrew Cuomo recently signed a new strict gun control measure designed to make "assault weapons" illegal and limit magazine sizes. In areas of the country where open-carry is allowed, supporters proudly - and responsibly - exercised their Second Amendment rights.
