Topper: first of all, your 8:55 comment assumes that black folks were living an above-subsistence life, in harmony and justice, until they switched allegiance from Reeps to Dems (actually about the same time Dixiecrats were switching allegiance from Ds to Rs). But more importantly, there is a contempt in your approach, a fundamental disdain and even violence that I don't think you guys are aware of. Try to think like your skin was black and you lived in a black neighborhood. You are getting robocalls telling you to vote in the library when you know you are supposed to vote at the firehouse. They are telling you voting has been changed to November 7th when you know it is November 6th. You get to the polling station. There..

..are a bunch of guys standing around giving you stink-eye. You have to stand in line, even for hours, when you know for a fact that your affluent white countrymen do not. There are some nice young people with laptops. They are Democratic organizers. They know who you are. They know who your neighbors are. They are trying to keep you comfortable in the cold or rainy weather. They are on your side.

And YOU are telling these people that they are plantation voters? Go to hell, chump. They would be plantation voters if they voted for the a-holes who were trying to deny them their First Freedom, their right, as American citizens, to a government that governs with their consent.

Say what you will. this is nothing more than DNC spin.

Obama's "victory", is nothing more the the fickle winds of politics and not a "great change".

The 50's and 60 saw conservatism wain, and the 80's and early 90's saw it's return and.....

As far as the fastest growing political ideology in the United States that would be Libertarianism not Big Gov Liberalism.

Reagan coalition is dead as a governing coalition. Libertarianism is a manifestly failed economic model. and the traditional avenues of right-wing power, media narrative and tabloids, have lost their bite with the younger generation.

Say ciao, chump. glory days are over.

The young are embracing Libertarianism more than any other movement or political philosophy. Don't be blinded by your own rhetoric, the biggest failed economic or otherwise model is Liberalism. And Libertarianism is not just about economics but why should I wast my time explaining it to your closed mind.

The Blind will always fall with out guidance.

Its all about the Party and never about reality.

Spin is king.

Not his words, you must understand.  Just a "depressing" observation from a "very smart" White House aide:

Joe Klein -- last seen beclowning himself on Benghazi -- gets a big laugh at this line because it's so true, right?  Republicans are just the worst.  Lincoln would have never been able to handle this bunch of radicals.  Maybe this "very smart" White House source should go re-watch Lincoln, or re-read his history books.  Congressional Republicans were the ones who
