It would be my pleasure to answer your questions.

1. You see there are some rather wealthy people here in Canada who knowing that they wont always be treated like the very important people that they know they are therefore go to the States to get the treatments that they feel they deserve faster than everyone else. I will admit its difficult at times accepting that I have to share my healthcare with people regardless of their wealth, race, religion, position, etc but I would happily wait an extra few hours in line at the hospital with pride knowing that everyone is cared for.

2. If Canada ceased to exist as a Governmental entity at this very moment the world would lose one of the most positively viewed...

Here's a taste of the song by the arrogant worms for my new friends:

"In 1812 Madison was mad,
He was the president you know.
Well he thought he'd tell the British where they ought to go.
He thought he'd invade Canada,
He thought that he was tough.
Instead we went to Washington,
And burned down all his stuff.

And the white house burned, burned, burned.
And we're the ones that did it,
It burned, burned, burned.
While the president ran and cried,
It burned, burned, burned.
And things were very historical,
And the Americans ran and cried like a bunch of little babies WaWaWa
In the war of 1812."

I don't imagine this little fact shows up in your history books very often...

Harry Mud:

I think you ought to listen to a song called "The war of 1812" by the arrogant worms. I think the US could use a small reminder that we can protect ourselves just fine! We were hardly a Nation when this happened and believe me we are a lot tougher than you think, we just don't believe in fighting without good reason (unlike our neighbours to the South). It's kind of cute that you guys think you protect us though

"The socialist are coming the soicalists are coming"...really I thought fear of socialism and communism went out of style about 40 years or so ago.
This may come as a bit of a shock but did you know that Canada is not socialist or communist? You might want to take a seat for this next revelation....
making sure that everyone rich and poor alike have access to healthcare will NOT make you socialist or communist either!
Okay I know that is probably a bit much for one day so I'll leave it at that.

Just thought you guys might want to know what people (including Conservatives) out here really think of people like Anne:

"Conservative strategist Tim Powers, who has been teaching at the university for the past decade, said he has always regarded the institution as a free marketplace of ideas and views.

But he thought the way it handled the Coulter appearance was unfortunate. ...

"People look at her with some passing curiosity, but that's about it," Powers said. "She's not seen as a serious commentator or a serious thought leader. For that reason, the University of Ottawa . . . should have let the clown perform, and she would have shown herself to be a joke."

Ottawa New Democrat MP Paul Dewar said he had...

I have to admit as a Canadian I am slightly fascinated by Anne Coulter. I live in a Country that has come a long way from such extremism so I'm kind of drawn to reading her rediculous rants much like many people cannot help, but stare at the horror of a bad car accident. I guess you could call it a morbid curiosity, because I rarely encounter hate mongers here in Canada. I've always been incredibly proud to be Canadian, but when I read things like this, I am also relieved not to be American...although I do envy you a wonderful leader like Obama
Cheers =)
