Outstanding choice. This is the 1st time I've actually been excited about a presidential ticket since Reagan and I missed voting for him by a year. This is a great choice. Finally some grown ups who'll actually address the big issues facing our country. Who'll make the arguments needed to lead the country. I was really hoping for Ryan, but I didn't expect to be giddy. I sure hope the country is serious enough to take advantage. God bless America!

Update Saturday 6:17 am ET: The Romney campaign has officially announced through a press release that Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin will be Mitt Romney's vice presidential running mate.

Campaign sources indicate that Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin is Mitt Romney's vice presidential pick, NBC News reported Friday night.  Earlier Romney's campaign said in a statement that it would announce a running mate at 9 a.m. ET Saturday morning in Norfolk, Va., just before he begins a four-day bus tour in the battleground state.
