I disagree. The Republican voters of Missouri favored him. He has been a representative in Congress for eleven years. So, they had a chance to get to know him well. And, even if he said something in a dumb way, he was supporting a point that very many believe in. This isn't just about politics. This is about principle. Romney blows in the wind. At least we know where Akin stands.

No one actually believes that Todd Akin is pro-rape. His problem is that he spouted off biologically false nonsense and used the term "legitimate rape" while discussing the subject on television.
