"All About a Video"?

This is not about a video. I'm not even sure it's about America. I think Forbes Magazine has it right: It's about decades of living dictatorships with highly filtered information charged with deflecting anger about corruption and lack of opportunity. The people in these countries are upset. For their entire lives, their media has told them that Isreal and the U.S. are to blame for what's wrong in the world. And things haven't changed fast enough in the Arab Spring. Extremists are, as usual, finding a way to take advantage of that.

Close all embassies and consulates in the middle east (sensa Israel), declare all of their embassy/consulate personnel "persona non grata" and give them 3 days to get out, do the same to the Russians and Chinese as soon as they open their mouths, ban travel to/from same, close all airlines, commercial seaports, shut down all trade and banking (so what if a few rich folks lose a few million), accept no visa applications for anyone from the middle east from ANY nation, If any none-muslim country starts bellyaching, close our embassies there as well, anyone who shows up on a non-US carrier gets sent back on the same plane/boat.

Yesterday, Press Secretary Jay Carney maintained that the wave of violence in the Middle East was all about a low-budget, little-seen YouTube video and not about the Obama Administration's policy in the Middle East and throughout the Arab World. Reports are coming out, however, that the Obama Administration isn't delusional enough to believe their own rhetoric.

The New York Times reported that the White House is "preparing for a long siege of Arab unrest."

The unrest has suddenly become Mr. Obama’s most serious foreign policy crisis of the election season, and analysts say it is calling...
