In the story of the Prodigal son, the son demanded his inheritance. The father attempted to reason with the son but to no avail. The son leaves and goes out for wild living and squanders his inheritance. The Bible tells us that after squandering everything...he finds himself with nothing and eating like an animal. He then comes to his senses.

The GOP has to understand that this country and those who voted for Obama are like this Prodigal son...they want stuff and they are going to squander it and find themselves with nothing. It is incumbent on the GOP to allow this nation to find itself eating out of a pig trough. Because then and only then will this nation come to its senses and see that Liberalism, and progressivism and spending and borrowing and taxing and spending results in eating from a pig trough.

The GOP needs to give the Dems the keys to the nation and allow the nation to go into the logical direction that liberalism goes. The GOP will never be able to convince young people that have been indoctrinated into this liberalism to see things their way. They will have to learn the hard way. The nation will suffer...yes it will but from this type of suffering a lesson can be learned. The Dems smell the death of the GOP and they are ramping up their attacks...

I suggest we give them what they want and allow them to find themselves eating from a pig trough. The GOP can become the Symbol of the city of Atlanta, the Phoenix City. The USA can be the same....but I think we need to let the people have what they want b/c only a hard lesson will bring them to their senses. One cannot reason with an unreasonable person. Give the Deems the keys and when the house burns, the nation will ask Conservatives to rebuild it. I firmly believe that.

NO. They will just blame the mess on the republicans in Congress.
Alvin24 Wrote: Nov 20, 2012 9:44 PM
I disagree, give Obama what he wants and he will not be able to blame anyone.
mary anne24 Wrote: Nov 20, 2012 9:45 PM
Don't you talk to Obama voters - They say the reason he did not fix the economy was because of the republicans in Congress. They don't even realize he had full control for two years.
Frank98 Wrote: Nov 20, 2012 9:46 PM
Um,Alvin, Obama/Davis Soetoro will still blame bOOsh.
Oh! the best part, his lemmings will believe him.
Alvin24 Wrote: Nov 20, 2012 9:47 PM
That's my point...if the GOP stops fighting Obama and let him have is way, how can he say the GOP would not allow him to do anything?
mary anne24 Wrote: Nov 20, 2012 9:48 PM
So you think we just hand them Congress/The house of reps...I don't think that is a good idea.
Alvin24 Wrote: Nov 20, 2012 9:50 PM
I think you guys are missing my point. You can't blame someone for something if they didn't oppose you on it. When these smoochers realize that there is no more stuff to be had, then they will not blame the GOP b/c the GOP would have Given Obama and the Dems what they wanted. It's silly to keep trying to convince a person of something they have not experienced....allow them to experience high gas prices, high food prices and then see what happens.
Frank98 Wrote: Nov 20, 2012 9:52 PM
Most Gopers are pussycats. The House is Irrelevant as far as Soetoro is concerned. He just signs executive orders and bypass them
BTW. Being a repub does not mean one is a conservative.
Republican and conservative are not synonymous.

Mary Anne24,
We can't convince people who get free stuff that its better if they work....if you son called you from jail, and you bailed him out, at what point do you allow him to stay there to learn his lesson?

I am just saying - in case you haven't noticed. In 4+ years Obama has never been blamed for ANYTHING

Just another one of the myriad blessings many of us can be grateful for this Thursday: a Thanksgiving turkey. A new study from the Sunlight Foundation indicates that, thanks to economic hardship, more Americans than ever will be forced to set their Thanksgiving tables using food stamps -- hardly a budget that allows for an opulant feast on a day centered around dinner.

The Food Stamp Challenge, which challenges higher-income families to live as if they are on food stamps, estimates that a person on food stamps has a budget of about $1.25 per meal. In other...
