Romney tries to throw Akin under the bus only to realize he's attached to Ryan at the hip! H.R. 212 "To provide that human life shall be deemed to begin with fertilization." Translation: "To provide that raped women be forced to carry the rapist's babies to term."

Your translation is wrong, AllButt.
1. How do you know HUMAN life does not begin at conception? What is your evidence that PRECLUDES something akin to Thought, even Self-Awareness (cognito ergo sum) is going on at the Cellular or even Molecular level?
2. If you can produce no evidence for life NOT beginning at conception, when CAN you produce evidence for when it DOES become Human Life? Heartbeat? Brainwave?

The woman gets to see the rapist get justice served.

btw - is there another way to deliver babies? If there is, then the woman can opt out but Nature has figured on this method so far...

AllYouPeople - if we did things your way, all people whom we don't want to remind us of bad things could be killed at our convenience.

Not a good way to run a civilized society is it?

Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney has asked Missouri Senate Candidate Todd Akin to withdraw from the race as fallout from comments made about rape over the weekend continues. Romney released the following statement this afternoon.

As I said yesterday, Todd Akin's comments were offensive and wrong and he should very seriously consider what course would be in the best interest of our country.  Today, his fellow Missourians urged him to step aside, and I think he should accept their counsel and exit the Senate race.
