Video: Biden Gaffe of the Day

Of course it was a gaffe. We all commit gaffes as Ann Coulter smartly points out in her book Slander. (Turn on the news and you’ll inevitably see a gaffe.) Of course Dan Quayle uses a misspelled Q-card handed to him by an NEA union teacher and the kid gets on David Letterman. The press has an eruption and SNL makes a monument effort to make the most misspelled word a case for his “stupidity”. Perhaps that was a little more “mean-spirited” (an annoyingly over used term.)

There was one thing that was totally overlooked. They made a big deal about Quale not being able to spell potato. He did spell potato correctly. Just because he put an "E" on the end doesn't mean he he didn't spell potato.

We learned long ago that Biden is a walking joke of a VP. His free speech right to gaffe is no problem with us conservatives. (Tell him to keep up the good work.)

At least Bloomberg’s idiotic announcement that a marathon has more priority over dealing with an inept FEMA was walked back. Biden tends to double down and dig himself deeper.

Well, in my opinion, Vice President Biden meant exactly what he said, and until he indicates otherwise, I will defend him for his right to free speech and his right to have his own opinion of the President. This is something you Republicans should learn!

This feature could easily be a daily installment, but seriously, who wants to monitor Joe Biden's every utterance?  God bless the poor RNC staffer assigned to the 'Slow Joe Gaffewatch' beat.  In any case, this one's an instant classic:

"Not one single day. Not one single day."

Oh, you.
