Do we have to achieve world peace? Have "terrorism" surrender? Have drugs surrender? Have poverty surrender? Does the world have to become an idealistic utopia where the economy only ever grows? Or can we realistically expect that there will always be problems to face, but we still expect the so called conservatives to get to work on a big problem. Balance the budget by 2040? Everyone knows that budget predictions that far out are about as reliable as weather predictions that far out. But I'm sure it's easier to attack straw man arguments instead of actually being the fiscal conservatives the GOP pretends to be.

But whatever specific name you go by, Bob, you know who you are. You're the sort of person who says to his conservative friends or co-workers something like, "I would totally vote for Republicans if they could just give up on these crazy social issues."
