Interesting and VERY sad that the environazi's have hijacked the very real need we have to control pollution and waste (trash garbage, mountain top coal mining, etc.) that we deface our landscape with every day. And lets not forget that Sir William Herschel (1700's astronomer) all on his own correlated sunspot cycles with higher temperatures. He did it by looking at the sunspot cycles and checking wheat supplies/costs and solar cycles. His own conclusion was that sunspots = higher temps. No sunspots = lower temps. You are the one wrong here... We live in a global economy, and as such with the highest corporate tax rate in the world consumers will look for the same product produced elsewhere. Every time the price of gas goes up the poor are hit the worst. And everything we use also costs more because the cost of shipping it to stores goes up ALWAYS. Why does Obama want to hurt the poor ?

GM was not saved by his policies, quite the opposite GM enslaved the American taxpayer with Obama's policies. GM should have been allowed to file Ch 11 and restructure which in the end would have made a more competitive and prosperous GM. As is stands now only thing that really happened was the union pension funds got bailed out at taxpayer expense and their cars are still not competitive on the world stage and we will see this happen again. If Ford could do it without taxpayer help,why not GM ?

Th UN like the League Of Nations before it is and always has been a toothless entity. Unlike the LON before it tho, when the League was proven useless by several wars, it quietly just faded away. The UN so far has not, tho it has long outlived it's usefulness.
