No excuses, pal. You're not going to be judged on what somebody else did or didn't do to or for you-your unbelief is on your shoulders alone.

You refuse to believe because you don't want to think that it wasn't religion that was at fault but your parents. Lots of people misuse the Christian faith for a variety of reasons, but that does not in any way diminish or invalidate what Christ says about Himself, God, or you and your relationship to Him.
