The sneering attitude toward Christianity on television and in the larger culture speaks for itself. In fact, in the greatest irony of all, it's usually the modern-day Pharisees of cultural and political morality who want to have it all ways: First, they don't want Christianity involved in any way with anyone's cultural or political philosophy-it is to be kept as a Sunday morning observance and preferably not mentioned at all, in fact it ought be kept separate from life during the rest of the week. Yet just let some public figure who is a professed believer have the temerity to be caught out in sin, and the modern-day Pharisee immediately indicts the whole of the faith and those who subscribe to it as 'hypocrites'. Hume said, "My message to Tiger would be: Tiger, turn to the Christian faith and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world."
