Is rather like Christian contemporary music. Being a mile wide and an inch deep it is vapid and useless.

I have never watched the former and won't listen to the latter. Not judging the faith of those in it, but there just isn't any substance there; nothing to really wrap your head around.

The churchmen of our time, those in the formerly confessional mainstream denominations are too much of this world to speak competently of either life in this world OR the next.

My Lutheran church does not often see fit to address social and political issues either. A pity, for we've some of the most Biblically sound and intellectually stimulating theology around.

Since ACORN’s crass corruption came into sharp focus a few weeks ago, Andrew Breitbart has not only been part and parcel of cracking ACORN’s nuts, but he has also been pointing out the ludicrous lack of reporting on ACORN’s asininities by what used to be the mainstream media.

Breitbart, via the ACORN controversy, has shown the “mainstream” to be everything but conventional and more akin to an irrelevant, unwatched drip of ideological flotsam that’s entirely in the septic tank for the lunatic left.
