A Basic Human Right to Obamacare?

Yes. Whether that means I self-insure (that is, pay for all necessary exams/treatments/therapies/equipment myself), or freely and willingly pay the premiums and deductibles to join an insurance pool (which can only potentially deny payment, not treatment), it means I pay for my own healthcare, just as I pay for my own housing, food, clothing and transportation. Why, except if we freely and willingly choose to belong to the same insurance group, should you be under any obligation to pay any part or all of my bill, after all? Under ObamaoControl, as in every other socialized healthcare system in the world, there will be no freedom, no choice, and no appeal, regardless of our wishes.

Under President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the United States for the first time joined the U.N.'s Human Rights Council. The U.S. has long steered clear of this council, reluctant to participate in a "human rights" body that despots like Syria and Libya routinely chair.

But Obama brought the U.S. under the council's jurisdiction, and this week his administration submitted for the first time a review of the human rights situation in the U.S. to the council. Many have criticized it for sounding too apologetic about Americans' human rights record.

It is a very revealing document, though, especially...
