Any corporation in the world would fire a CEO who was hired to improve the economic situation in the company and increase revenue and, after four years, continued to blame the guy he replaced. In fact, I doubt a corporation would keep the new man on board if he even tried to blame his predecesor in his first year. We want results, not excuses. I admit Bush was not paying enough attention to the economy - he concentrated on fighting terrorism. But, his Congress dominated by Dems ran us into massive debt and he just rubber stamped. Oboma was supposed to turn things around. He turned them round and round and ... you get the picture.

It is unlikely the Obamas ever purchased anything with their own money. Economy is purely a theoretical concept to them.

Nothing produces more of a sense of the futility of facts than seeing someone in the mass media repeating some notion that has been refuted innumerable times over the years.

On July 9th, on CNN's program "The Situation Room" with Wolf Blitzer, commentator Gloria Borger discussed President Obama's plan to continue the temporary extension of the tax rates established under the Bush administration -- except for the top brackets, where Obama wanted the tax rates raised.
