Isn't it always the way? Great prose is not practiced by sowers of discord.

As you read the book, try to remember that the pictures of Christ and Mary that so many people revere are just pictures of models. No one knows what Christ looked like. We do, however, know how he acted and it is his example we are taught to follow. As for Mary, it was never intended that men would worship her. But, people being people, they have put her on the market and profitted greatly by their chicanery.

Perhaps, God uses all types of men to bring about his will. However, if one traces the Church back to the beginning, it is easy to see how much has been added and subtracted to the Church doctrine as taught by Christ and the Apostles. This is true of all Churches, not just Catholic believers. I doubt the Apostle Paul would recognize the Church he helped to construct throughout the Gentile world.

You are correct in that the first Church was not Catholic as we now use the term. Worship of Mary did not commence for hundreds of years. In the beginning followers of Christ had one Father and no Pope. The Catholic Church did preserve much of Scripture but it added a raft of practices never imagined by the Apostles. But, anti-Christ has learned that too many people worship Mary so it becomes necessary to have an anti-Mary movement as well. But, God is not mocked - whatever these people gain in anti-God movements, they will rue when they stand before Him.

You escaped the indoctrination. You can still discern. It takes a strong character to withstand the peer pressure put on kids in college to buy the professors' propaganda.

What is pwnage? The president has proceeded with arrogance to break any promise he made as if he thinks he is a king and does not have to be held accountable. If he could he would say "off with their heads."

Nothing more than the hypocrisy of people in general. I've seen people in Church sit piously in their pews on Sunday and go out and manipulate people in the workplace for gain and never turn a hair. Jews are people whose hearts are not always right with God. The shame is that so many of them latch onto the valueless material world and eschew God.

Many, many Jews are Jewish in name only. They do not even believe in Jehovah and follow the same god of this World that the majority of the World obey. One cannot expect people who deny God to vote any way except for man or woman who understands that Godliness may bring prosperity but may also bring persecution. They want to live in a World where their deeds are accepted and there is no condemnation Oddly enough, the Bible says there is now no condemnation before God for the deeds done in the flesh of one who is born again. There may be consequences; but, not separation from God.

Not in our dreams, in our prayers. Stupid people for two thousand years blamed Jews for crucifying Christ when He said plainly that no man took his life. He relinquised it for our good and God's glory. He is available to everyone, Jew or Gentile. It is just that many Jews, like Jonah, resent God reaching out to Gentiles. They expected deliverance in the flesh and disregarded the need for Spiritual regeneration. A lot of people who call themselves Christian do the same thing and get mad when they are persecuted or when someone else they feel are unworthy succeed. How else could our president succeed in stirring up class warfare?

Lack of the truth in their hearts, pure and simple. When the Savior came, they preferred the tyrant they hated to the God who loved them. We must be careful we do not try to depend on material things instead of the promise of God. Even though we may believe Christ, standing in the day of adversity requires constant vigilence in our souls and closeness with God. Many of us may stand naked before Christ, saved only because of the grace of God but sripped of any rewards.
