Hollywood has been influential in liberal politics for some time. It is now impossible to figure out what politicians are actors and what actors are politicians. We have a president who is playing the role surrounded by a cabinet chosen for the audition performance they managed. It began when Mr. O's publicity staff flew a jet around NY, frightening the population, just after he was elected. Not hard to see the amateurs in the White House. But, at the end of the day, we have a man who has acted the role of president and can relax into his true character - Hollywood wanna be.

Buried in the back pages of the Friday newspapers (May 25th) lay a story of Obama Administration efforts to play up the elimination of Osama Bin Laden for political purposes and the suspected compromise of certain national security secrets by Administration officials, cavalierly attempting to gain partisan advantage in advance of the November election.

The facts of the story are somewhat murky, as the Administration has invoked the cone of silence on the emerging issue. It does seem, however, that the Obama administration has played fast and loose with national security secrets to maximize good publicity, via a Hollywood blockbuster, just...
