Yes, the mainstream media kept the majority of the people dumbed down. That plus pop culture - the real "opiate of the people" - created the "low information" voter, who Neil Bortz named the greatest domestic threat to our American way of life. And that is not say that we have all the answers and that conservatives cannot struggle to know themselves and their values better and live them out, besides articulating them as "missionaries" to borrow Dennis Prager's phrase. I am going to cancel my TV service. Maybe if enough people did that, the sponsors of main stream media might have some influence in demanding more unbiased reporting. In my case, I need more time to read and work out. Thank you MSM for helping me break the TV addiction.
