Thank you for illustrating the favorite tool of liberal argument: don't pay attention to numbers, attack the messenger. Mr. Ransom's mention of Steve Benen's credentials was because Mr. Benen essentially argued from his opinion: "yes, the number of unemployed grows, but _I_ say it is not relevant and even a sign of good times". Mr. Ransom presented the numbers that speak for themselves; care to show that the numbers are wrong? No? I did not think so. Oh, what I am doing talking to troll again...

Weekly claims for unemployment rose by 20,000 people last week.

That’s 362,000 workers who now don’t have jobs. And that’s 7,000 more out-of-work persons than economists had predicted- but don’t worry.
