Wayne did a great job of preaching to the choir. How do we get the other 95 million gun owners to join the NRA. A force of 100 million would be a very powerful political group.

If we dont stand togather, we will fall. Whether you agree with everything NRA does or not, every gun owner should be a member if they want to keep their guns. If the FUDDS of the world continue to think these laws wont affect them and keep ignoring politics, all gun owners will be screwed. If you are really against the NRA look into the second amendment foundation or gun owners of america. All gun owners should be a member of at least 1. Take the money you are saving on ammo right now and join!

That's a good goal. We should all try to do that.

I don't agree with everything the NRA does, or every position they take on any particular issue related to guns, hunting, competition shooting, and the 2nd Amendment. However, to defend them, no organization is wide enough to make everyone happy. If you support AR15's, some of the trap shooters and bird hunters will balk. If you don't support AR15's, some competition shooters, hunters, and target shooters will balk. Some gun owners like long guns only and won't support defending the possession of handguns. I'd say the NRA does reach out to hunters, comp. shooters, and CCW folks, as well as the general gun owning public. However, there are subgroups within all of those organizations who will find fault with support for the other groups.

every member needs to recruit 20 new members. That is my goal for the year.

reach out to the hunting orgs,
reach out to the competition shooting orgs
reach out to the other CCW orgs

Take a friggin solid stand for the 2nd Amendment & hold the ford come fire, flood, or the progressive hoards.
The NRA has allowed it's self to be boxed in & stood by while little bits of the 2nd has been chipped away.
It's no wonder why groups like GOA have risen up to fight infringement of the 2nd.
