I don't see any incumbent taking a pay cut.
In NJ, I don't see the governor's wife paring down the number of assistants she seems to need.
I hope I don't hear my Governor say that, in these difficult times, we all have to share in the suffering. Nor do I want to hear that from anyone in public office, unless it is reflected in their bottom lines, instead of just ours.
They are our servants, but, somehow, they get to vote themselves pay raises.
