Read many comments, both by racists and fair minded folks. Where would black Republican house members come from? In the cities, the Democrats are the only ones that seem to give them anything. The Republicans, if they are there, expect things from them. Responsibility, honesty, self-respect and independence. Fortunately, there are thousands of blacks that want the same for their families and neighbors and will see their way out of being tools of the Democratic city machines. They continue to vote Democratic without realizing there is no real hope there. Just more of the same.
