A difficult concept, Bible believing people are expected to follow, is, that if you swear, you must fulfill your vow, even if, by unintended consequences, it turns to be a loss to you.
Progressives cannot possibly be expected to hold to their oath of office, as the end justifies the means. So they are turned from defending the Constitution, as they swore, to winning, politically. A tactic any child on a playground, with underdeveloped ethics of youth, can grasp.
Assisted suicide is still illegal in most of the United States. But Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama are doing their impression of the helpful Dr. Kevorkian, egging on the House to approve a “self-executing” rule that would kill the nation’s health care system by suffocating it under the big hand of government.
