Banks did not want tarp money, but were strong-armed into taking it, to their remorse.
I am glad the progressives are answered in these posts. Regardless of Bush's failings, we cannot spend like we are. Obama, Reid, Pelosi are faith-based if they think we can meet the impossible debts they are laying on our children. Bush spent(borrowed) $10, let's spend(borrow) $3000. And from China! Idiotic behavior worthy only of traitors.

President Obama was disingenuous when he said that the budget deficit he faced "when I walked in the door" of the White House was $1.3 trillion. He went on to say that he only increased it to $1.4 trillion in 2009 and was raising it to $1.6 trillion in 2010.

As Joe Wilson said, "You lie."
