For years, global warming alarmists have pointed to every drought and heat wave as proof that global warming was a real environmental threat. They had few qualms about blurring the line between weather and climate to make a PR point. Similar distortion, etc. is afflicting other sources for checking the accuracy of information on the web. It is difficult for me to grasp that people like the leader in Iran will say anything with a straight face. I think our noble leader and his Czars are the same sort. Lie to win!
My other concern is that the web, itself, will be controlled. The lock is already on TV stations run by Disney, etc.
