GOP Strategic Retreat?

I've noticed an increase of lib spamming on this site. MoveOn must be assigning the Lib of the day to join in and pick a fight. I'm of the inclination to let them take their medicine, stay out of this deal and when it blows up, the Dems will have no choice but to own the results. It will be a painful four years but will hurt the Dems in the long run.

It will be a painful 4 years-maybe 2 if we can win the Senate back midterm. However, I think that the winning strategy is to let the Dems own what they have created. We have to start thinking long term and not just about the next election. We can't win the media war. If the Reps participate in this sham compromise, they will surely be blamed for any bad consequences. A bad compromise is worse than no deal. Let the Dems take us to Greece and then we may see our numbers increase at the ballot box.

Absolutely, let them own it. No more scapegoating the right. It will be painful but the end results will be a clear distinction between left and right. It could spell the end of the libs for a generation.
The Romney camp has been too heavy on just riding the anti-O wave. They need to flesh out a credible alternative. Just waiting for Obama to hang himself is not a strategy.
Laura Ingraham had it right; if this Republican party can't take the election away from a failed President, then they should sell the furniture and lock the doors. The party is over. I will vote R this time (again) but only because a Libertarian vote is just going to insure another 4 yrs of Obama decline.

That's bull.. Current bankruptcy law on the books would have been adequate for GM to reorganize and continue. But under that route, the unions would have had to take a haircut and the Organizer in Chief would not have that.
The largest private health insurance company, United WellPoint, collects only $67 Billion in premiums.
Wrong. I tuned into Sunday morning on fox, as usual, and found the usual balanced panel of two from each side. Flipped over to CBS and Bob had no one but a string of guests agreeing with his position.

I believe there is a charlatan on late night infomercials selling all kinds of "natural" cancer cures. He is convicted fraudster Kevin Trudeau, promoting a variety of non-drug and non-surgical purported cures for many diseases, primarily in support of his business selling such products.
Married to a third grade teacher. She worked much harder than I did as a nurse in surgery. In before the kids arrive and not home until well after. Papers to correct, grades to be entered. No time to do that stuff when kids are in school. Sure, she got holidays and summers. Imagine this in your own job... Teachers can't just leave the room and take that 15 min break that most states mandate. you know the law that says an employee gets a lunch and two 15 min breaks? She got a half hour lunch and that's it. So, there you are at your job. You go in at 7:30 and NEVER leave your desk-cubicle-whatever for the next 5 hrs. you get 30 mins to take care of lunch & personal business and repeat it for the afternoon.
