Obama's Choice: Boy Scouts or Islam?

From a Western perspective, Mohammedanism (Islam) is not to be seen as a religion as we understand such, but instead as a totalitarian political philosophy incompatible with the basic tenets of Democracy. Re-read that last sentence carefully. Before I elaborate, let me make the observation that in treating the problems that Mohammedanism brings to our shores as mere "quirks" of the Mohammedan religion, we surrender the high ground and condemn ourselves to certain defeat at the hands of enemies pounding the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and the principle of freedom of religion.
