Apartheid nation? Arab citizens of Israel have more rights in Israel than they do in Arab countries. "Occupied territories"? They weren't until Israel was repeatedly attacked from them. What happened when Israel forcibly pulled its citizens from Gaza? "Land for Peace"? A Palestinian state in the West Bank would not allow any Jews to live there, notwithstanding the fact that Jews lived there before 1948. That would be a real apartheid nation. The security fence and various checkpoints are necessary because of the constant threat of terrorists and suicide bombers. Civilian deaths and destruction in the Gaza war are due to Hamas' policy of international war crimes: shooting rockets from schools, hospitals and even UN facilities. Hamas spends billions of dollars on attack tunnels and weapons, not on infrastructure and its own citizens. Palestinian leadership has no interest in a two state solution. Their oft-stated goal is the total destruction of Israel and all Jews. There could have been a Palestinian state in 1948 or even earlier if it weren't for antisemitism.
