He may or may not technically be a US citizen, but clearly he does not have a US upbringing.
JFK was right: governing is about making hard choices.

As I've written in my blog, BHO is finding that sticking it to the man as a community organizer is a whole lot different than being the man.

may well have been that neither party put up a candidate that is right for America.

So maybe (I have a hard time saying this) its ultimately a good thing the worst possible man won--if it wakes up conservative Americans and we're able to really clean house.

I thought the article was going to be about RFA. :-(

RFA is now called "Voice of America" and--surprise!--it's now another propaganda arm of the Obama administration.

on a smaller scale numbers-wise at a forum where our Rep Lamborn appeared. Room filled to overflowing, 90% supported his position against Obamacare. Polite and sometimes loud applause on points of agreement. Only one Obamabot was rude, loudly shouting "Lies!" Those around her quieted her down pretty quickly.

You comment about Supreme Court nominations being "war" is apt, Ann: when will the Republicans ever learn?

The Supreme Court is the last "firewall" the Republic has against the unbridled take-over by the Left.

Republicans need to get serious. We're going to get the first Affirmative Action racist Latina Supreme Court justice either way, but at least people need to know that.

Ps 109:8 is as far as the bumper sticker goes, not all the rest of it. I hope we all agree with verse 8 and work diligently toward making his days is office as short and fruitless as possible.

1 Tim2:2-3 was used for centuries in Christian countries as justification for the people to support the king; for his part, the king was answerable to God for his treatment of his subjects. This theory was called "the divine right of kings."

That verse is wholly inappropriate in this country. In 1776 we declared that the king had broken his pact with God in how he was treating his subjects (we Americans) and that therefore we had the right to rebel and declare our independence.

We did and now We the People are sovereign. ...

That Democratic strategy is all about business as usual. This isn't business as usual.

We're going to throw the bums out all right--but we're not going to settle for just another set of bums.
